PRESS RELEASE
The Italian Coop. Sant'Orsola to participate in Fruit Logistica 2024 in Berlin (February 7-9), the world's leading trade fair for fresh fruit and vegetable products.
In its 45th year of operation, the cooperative will unveil the new red color and corporate graphic design for packaging. The focus will be on the zero-residue raspberry-blueberry blend.
During the Fruit Logistica 2024 event in Berlin, Sant'Orsola is strongly represented to further enhance the market success achieved by its zero-residue raspberries and blueberries. The cooperative will also launch the new corporate graphic design for labels and trays, dominated by the color red, starting from the upcoming spring.
The new labels on the lid of each package are bordered with a vibrant and intense red, presenting the three values expressed by the new graphics: the 100% Italian origin of the product, the sustainability of the packaging in recycled and recyclable PET, and the inscription "since 1979," emphasizing the 45 years of experience in the industry. The intense red color will also wrap the trays containing 8 packages of berries weighing 125 grams each, replacing the traditional brown ones used by the company in the fruit and vegetable markets of major Italian cities. It's the Sant'Orsola style red, the color of ripe strawberries and raspberries.
These innovations will be showcased at Stand A-40 (Hall 4.2) of the fair, where Sant'Orsola returns as a protagonist. The top management will be joined by key personnel from strategic operational areas, including sales, research and development, technical support, logistics and packaging, and marketing, to confirm and strengthen its Italian leadership in production, sales, and market partnerships.
At the stand, the cooperative will present its entire range of products, including strawberries, wild strawberries, traditional raspberries and blueberries, blackberries, currants, baby kiwi, and cherries. At the forefront are its cutting-edge agronomic solutions, the zero-residue raspberry and blueberry exclusively produced in Italy, available on the market from late March to mid-October in a special 200-gram PET package, recyclable and made from recycled materials.
Sant'Orsola, already a key player in the Italian fresh fruit and vegetable market, arrives in Berlin with new agreements with major and renowned retail chains and new Italian and international suppliers. Furthermore, the strategies implemented will contribute to increasing the volumes of its own production throughout 2024, driven by the large-scale renewal of facilities and the growth in the number of producer members in the Italian regions where the company operates.
