The Superior Taste Award, a leading global recognition for taste quality, is awarded each year by the International Taste Institute in Brussels. Since 2005, a jury of over 250 internationally renowned chefs and sommeliers has blind-tasted thousands of food and beverage products from more than 100 countries.
Products are evaluated in silence according to objective criteria such as first impression, visual aspect, aroma, taste, texture, and final mouthfeel. The final score determines the number of stars awarded: 1 star (70–80 %), 2 stars (80–90 %), and 3 stars (over 90 %).
This independent sensory seal is now an essential tool for producers: it boosts reputation, facilitates access to international markets, and serves as an immediate guarantee for consumers.
