The 13th symposium on raspberries, blackberries, currants and gooseberries will be presented in Portland. A pre-symposium tour to visit and touch local crops will also be presented.
From July 19-21, the 13th International Rubus and Ribes Symposium, organized by the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and held by Prof. Lisa DeVetter and Dr. David Bryla, will be held in Portland, Oregon.
The event will give participants the opportunity to present their projects and research, along with the chance to learn the latest news regarding the world of raspberries, blackberries, currants and gooseberries.
Still, participants will be able to try their hand at an organized tour to be held July 16-18, a pre-symposium tour between Washington and Oregon to visit and see the area's raspberry crops and blackberries up close.
