Press release
Ahead of summer 2026, I Frutti di Gil, synonymous with quality berries, presents a new limited-edition packaging that celebrates the versatile character of soft fruits, transformed for the occasion into true icons of everyday life.
The creative project, developed by the branding agency KAERU in collaboration with Cesena-based illustrator Alessandra “Allissand” Bruni, breaks away from traditional conventions and elevates berries into nostalgic symbols, with a fresh and unmistakable visual narrative that brings colour to tables, goodness to backpacks and light-heartedness under beach umbrellas.

The graphic style combines 1970s culture with vintage inspirations. Blueberries, currants and raspberries become, in turn, beach umbrellas, sunglasses, handbags and hair clips. No longer simple ingredients, but elements fully integrated into everyday life.
The illustration draws inspiration from the atmosphere of 1970s seaside postcards from the Romagna Riviera, with Rimini serving as both symbolic backdrop and meta-narrative. At the centre, a female figure evokes iconic summer magazine covers, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

The limited edition will appear not only on the packaging of I Frutti di Gil branded products, but also on a range of promotional materials, presented and distributed during Macfrut and already considered iconic: a cotton canvas shopping bag, 15x10 postcards printed on paper with finishes inspired by the 1970s, and a wide selection of themed stickers.
The collaboration between IFDG and Allissand will continue throughout the year: in the coming months, two more limited-edition packs will arrive on the shelves, ready to stand out with their original, retro-flavoured graphics.
The “Un’estate da Copertina” limited edition will be available in Italian supermarkets starting in May.
