The Chilean blueberry season 2025–26 began in week 35 with a slower-than-expected start, despite projections of an earlier launch. By week 45, exports reached 1,135 tons, up 21% from last year, with South Korea absorbing 78% of the volume.
Total exports for the season are forecast at 91,512 tons (+1% year-on-year). The main driver is the strong rise in renewal varieties, expected to grow 67% thanks to expanded planted area and improved orchard productivity, while traditional varieties are projected to decline by 17%.
As of week 45, 69% of shipments consist of renewal varieties, led by Magnífica and Sekoya Pop. The leading producing region is Valparaíso (46%), followed by Coquimbo (35%).
