The assortments of the following store banners were surveyed: Aldi, Alì, Carrefour, Carrefour Express, Carrefour Market, Conad City, Conad Superstore, COOP, Despar, Dpiù, Esselunga, Eurospar, Eurospin, IN's, inCOOP, Ipercoop, Lidl, PAM, PAM Local, Sigma.
Assortment
In the berries category, the visited stores displayed between a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 7 SKUs, with an average of 3.7 SKUs per store.
In the 20 visited stores where berries assortments were present:
- 80% had Raspberries in their assortment
- 90% had Blueberries in their assortment
- 45% had Blackberries in their assortment
- 35% had Red Currants in their assortment
- 40% had Mixed Berry Packs in their assortment
Range Breadth
- 5% of stores with berries in their assortment offered only one SKU.
- 55% of stores with berries in their assortment offered 2 or 3 SKUs.
