The fifth episode of Berry Talks, the video conversations with the global players of berries, will feature guests Marco Briolini and Fernando Martino, CEO and Commercial Manager, respectively, of Agricultural Land Corporation, a leading producer and exporter of blueberries from Chile.
Agricultural Land Corporation was born in 2014 from an entrepreneurial project of Marco Briolini, but he immediately realized that it was not enough to be an investor but that he would have to become an agricultural entrepreneur himself.
Issues of technological innovation, production and business strategies are explored in the interview. We will find out how Agricultural Land Corporation faced the challenge of the Chinese market, which was identified as the main target market from the outset, and the impressive impact of increased costs (production and logistics) on company accounts.
