Berries in Modena retail: stocked shelves, generous packs and average prices in local stores

14

In Modena, shelves appear well stocked, with a wide offer both in terms of available products and formats. The most recurring origins are Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Moroccan, spread across the different references, while pack sizes are often generous: blueberries reach up to 500 grams, while raspberries and blackberries also frequently reach 250 grams.

Production batches are not very recent — mostly processed before the weekend — but this does not compromise an overall satisfactory quality. Among the brands present, a few well-known names dominate, such as Sant'Orsola, Garden, Frutta and Slomp.

Here is an extremely concise summary of what was recorded today, 13 May 2026, by the Small Fruits Observatory in the urban area of Modena where the survey covered 17 points of sale from 17 retail banners belonging to 13 groups of the large-scale retail trade (Gdo).

The assortments of the following points of sale were observed: Aldi, Conad, Conad City, Coop, Dpiù, Esselunga, Eurospar, Eurospin, Extra Coop, IN's, iperFamila, IperRossetto, Lidl, MD, Sigma, Spazio Conad, U2.
