Second European Blueberry Growing Conference: Milan hosts technical and commercial excellence event

After the success of the first edition, the Second European Blueberry Potted Cultivation Conference returns to the heart of Europe’s fruit and vegetable sector, a key event for professionals in the berry supply chain. Organized by Agroconsulenze - Sergio Panini and CASM Blueberries, the conference serves as a technical and strategic platform to address challenges and seize opportunities in the sector.

Focus on productivity, profitability and market connection

The 2026 edition stands out for its rich and targeted program, with high-level technical presentations and a strong focus on the profitability of intensive cultivation. The keynote speaker will be Sebastian Ochoa of CASM Blueberries, an international expert in high-efficiency production systems.

One of the key moments will be the “Market Link” session, featuring direct dialogue between growers and buyers, with the participation of Raphael Barona, Procurement Director EMEA at Driscoll’s, alongside representatives of European retailers and importers. The session will be moderated by Thomas Drahorad, editor-in-chief of Italian Berry Magazine.

Networking, exhibition and personalized consulting

The event will take place over three days:

  • Tuesday, March 3: Networking Dinner (by reservation), an informal opportunity to interact with speakers and experts.
  • Wednesday, March 4: Plenary Conference and Exhibition Hall featuring the best technological and commercial solutions for blueberries.
  • Thursday, March 5: Exclusive one-to-one technical consulting session, led by Sebastian Ochoa and Sergio Panini, for production companies interested in a personalized analysis of their performance.
