The index consists of 14 global retail chains, with all 14 having the product on promotion in the survey on 07/09/2024.

The 14 chains that make up the weekly panel are: Albert Heijn (NL), Carrefour (FR), Coop (CH), FairPrice (SG), Intermarches (FR), Interspar (AT), Kroger (US), Mercadona (ES), Rewe (DE), Sainsbury's (UK), Tesco (UK), Walmart (US), Woolworths (AU), ICA (SE).
This week's basket assortment includes 53 references in 14 global retail chains, with an average of 3.8 references per chain. The previous week, 49 references were recorded in 14 chains (average 3.5 references per chain). The total number of references increased by 8% compared to the previous week.
- 21% of the references showed increased prices, with prices rising by 23% compared to the previous week;
- 65% of the references showed stable prices compared to the previous week;
- 15% of the references showed decreased prices, with prices falling by 14% compared to the previous week.
