Il mirtillo infatti si presta a essere confezionato in formati anche più grandi del 125 g grazie alla sua buona conservabilità (che permette al consumatore di fare scorta settimanale) e alla sua buona resistenza allo schiacciamento, al contrario di lamponi e more che sono costretti in formati più piccoli più adatti a preservare l'integrità delle bacche.
