Blueberry Italia - Liberty® is a fast-growing, medium-sized, rounded shrub that is characterised by a high yield, often in the first year. The berries are medium to large in size and have an extraordinarily penetrating and acidic taste. They are slightly flattened and have a pleasant blue colour. The size of blueberry, which has an excellent shelf life, decreases with successive partial harvests. As the ripe fruit is easily detached, the variety is also suitable for mechanical harvesting. Liberty is a licensed cultivar and only selected nurseries are allowed to produce it.
Fairplant - Liberty® is a fast-growing blueberry plant with an upright bush. The berries can be harvested 1 to 1.5 weeks before Elliot. The berries are sweet with a slightly sour taste. The berries are flat, medium-sized and have a good shelf life. The fruit is very easy to pick from the bush and is therefore definitely a suitable berry plant for machine picking.
