The Global Blueberry Price Index of the basket Italian Berry increased 1.3 percent from the previous week.

The index is composed of 14 retailers of the large global retailers, 14 of which have product on offer in the 27/02/2023 survey. The 14 retailers that make up the weekly panel are: Albert Heijn (NL), Carrefour (FR), Coop (CH), FairPrice (SG), Intermarches (FR), Interspar (AT), Kroger (US), Mercadona (ES), Rewe (DE), Sainsbury's (UK), Tesco (UK), Walmart (US), Woolworths (AU), ICA (SE).

This week's basket assortment has 44 references in 14 global retailers of the GDO, with an average of 3.1 references per retailer. The previous week there were 44 references in 13 retailers (average 3.4 references per retailer). The total number of references thus decreased by 0% from the previous week.

• On 19% of the references, prices were found to be on the rise, with prices up 10% from the previous week;
• On 78% of the references, prices were stable compared to the previous week;
• Declining prices were found on 3% of references, with prices down 6% from the previous week.

Minimum prices are mostly stable this week: out of 14 retailers of large global retailers, 71% kept the minimum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 14% increased them, and 14% decreased the minimum prices from the previous week.

Maximum prices mostly stable this week: out of 14 retailers of the large global retailers, 50 percent held maximum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 36 percent increased them, and 14 percent decreased maximum prices from the previous week.
