Blueberries, stability continues in the global price index

The Global Blueberry Price Index of the basket Italian Berry is unchanged from the previous week.
The index is composed of 13 retailers of the large global retailers, 9 of which have product on offer in the survey on 05/23/2022.

The 13 retailers that make up the weekly panel are: Albert Heijn (NL), Carrefour (FR), Coop (CH), FairPrice (SG), Intermarches (FR), Interspar (AT), Kroger (US), Mercadona (ES), Rewe (DE), Sainsbury's (UK), Tesco (UK), Walmart (US), Woolworths (AU).

This week's basket assortment has 35 references in 9 retailers global GDO, with an average of 3.9 references per retailer. The previous week 38 references were found in 10 retailers (average 3.8 references per retailer). The total number of references thus decreased by 8 percent from the previous week.

• On 15 per cent of the references, prices werefound to have risen, with prices increasing by 26 per cent compared to the previous week;
• On 67% of the references, prices were stable compared to the previous week;
• On 18% of the references, decreasing prices werefound, with prices falling by 25% compared to the previous week.

Minimum prices mostly stable this week: out of 9 retailers of large global retailers, 56% kept the minimum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 11% increased them, and 33% decreased the minimum prices from the previous week.

Maximum prices mostly stable this week: out of 9 retailers of the large global retailers, 67% kept the maximum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 33% increased them, and 0% decreased maximum prices from the previous week.
