Macfrut 2023 offered the fruit and vegetable sector and blueberry in particular unprecedented national visibility. The presence of Rai as the event's media partner and Rai Pubblicità, who were present with a booth with a studio for radio and TV broadcast connections to report on the fair provided an opportunity to tell a wide audience about blueberry.

ROMUALDO RIVA WITH ANTONELLA CLERICI

A first live broadcast was with "It's Always Noon," the program hosted by Antonella Clerici that is the leading program for the female audience between the ages of 15 and 24, with a 25 percent share. Romualdo Riva of Berryway spoke from the area where the International Blueberry Days demonstration field was set up.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Italian Berry captured some behind-the-scenes images of Romualdo Riva's connection with Antonella Clerici.

MATTEO MOLARI: "THE BLUEBERRY FRUIT OF THE FUTURE."

It was then the turn of Matteo Molari who said, "The berries market still has a lot of untapped potential. There is room, but one must necessarily move from product quality and a consumer education process. To do this it is essential to get out of the box, get out of mere industry communication, talk to consumers and involve all the players in the supply chain, including buyers and retailers of course. This is our vision, it is the beating heart of our GilProgram club, and it is the approach we put into our work every day."

BRUNO MEZZETTI

RENZO PIRACCINI: "BLUEBERRY PLANETARY SUCCESS."

Renzo Piraccini, president of Cesena Fiera, also spoke about blueberry in an interview while walking through the halls of Macfrut,

CARLO LINGUA: "INNOVATION AND RESEARCH FOR THE FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE."

Carlo Lingua of RK Growers was interviewed by Rai mobile studio for Isoradio.
