The new GoBerry multipack is making its debut at Whole Foods Market stores in the UK. Four individual packs aim to turn blueberries into a convenient snack for school, work and on-the-go consumption.

Fruitist is expanding its UK offering with a new format designed for everyday and on-the-go consumption. The GoBerry multipack brings together four 150-gram pots of blueberries, with a total weight of 600 grams, in a handled pack.

The product has been available from 31 August 2026 at selected Whole Foods Market UK stores and represents a further development in the partnership between the retailer and the premium berry brand.

Four individual portions in a single pack

The main innovation lies not in the product itself, but in how it is presented. Instead of offering a single 600-gram family pack, Fruitist has chosen to divide the blueberries into four individual 150-gram pots.

The format therefore seeks to combine two different needs: the value of a multipack and the convenience of an individual portion. The pots can be used separately in lunchboxes, taken to work, enjoyed on a day out or simply kept at home as a ready supply.

The timing of the launch, coinciding with the back-to-school season, reinforces the product’s positioning as a fresh alternative to traditional packaged snacks.

Ahold also launched a multipack format in June 2026, with smaller portions, which, as reported by Italian Berry, was sold for €4.99 per 4×75 g pack.

Blueberries embrace the language of snacking

With the GoBerry multipack, Fruitist is applying to blueberries a model widely used in categories such as yoghurt, beverages and packaged snacks: several individual portions brought together in one easy-to-carry pack.

The design also helps move the product away from the traditional visual language of fresh produce and towards that of contemporary snacking. The cardboard carrier, bright colours, handle and messages such as “Snack the natural way” place convenience and consumption occasion at the forefront, alongside the characteristics of the fruit.

The packaging itself therefore becomes a communication tool, designed to make blueberries immediately recognisable as a snack to take on the go.

A new phase in the partnership with Whole Foods Market

In January 2026, Fruitist had already introduced the GoBerry range at Whole Foods Market stores in London, offering large-calibre blueberries in a format designed for on-the-go consumption. The new multipack now extends this concept from a single serving to planned consumption over several days.

Whole Foods Market is a natural fit for Fruitist’s positioning, providing access to consumers who are attentive to quality, nutrition and innovations that make fresh food easier to enjoy.

For the brand, the launch also represents another step in its strategy to move blueberries beyond consumption at home and into occasions traditionally dominated by processed snacks.

Packaging creates more consumption occasions

The 4×150 g format demonstrates how innovation in the berry category can also come through portion segmentation, without requiring any transformation of the product itself.

For growers and retailers, the challenge is to communicate not only that blueberries are healthy, but also that they can be easy to store, share among family members and enjoy at any time.

This is precisely the territory on which Fruitist is building its positioning. The brand states that it aims to make berries an enjoyable and nutritious alternative to processed snacks and is already distributed through retailers including Costco, Walmart, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market.
