Berry World announced that four of its exclusive and proprietary varieties have been honored by the International Taste Institute with Superior Taste Awards 2022 for their superior taste.
AWARDS AT BERRY WORLD
The following varieties in particular were awarded:
- BerryWorld® Jewel™raspberries from the BerryWorld Plus selection program:
- blackberries BerryWorld® Midnight™from the Beekers Berries selection program
- Strawberry Eves Delight from Edward Vinson Ltd's program
- BerryWorld Eureka®blueberries from the Mountain Blue program
THE ONLY BERRIES WITH SUPERIOR TASTE
Over the years, the Internation Taste Institute has evaluated more than 20,000 food and beverage products from around the world with its panel of prestigious chefs and sommeliers. According to Berry World, the rigorous tasting methodology makes the Superior Taste Award the world's most renowned independent certification.
Berry World varieties were the only 2022 berries to be awarded and were evaluated on several factors, including appearance, aroma, texture and taste. The blueberries BerryWorld Eureka and blackberries BerryWorld Midnight received a score of more than 90 percent from the judges and were awarded the 3-star Superior Taste Award, while BerryWorld Jewel raspberries and Eves Delight strawberries received the 2-star Superior Taste Award.
