Demand for premium blueberries increases in Poland

Despite challenges, the Polish Berry Cooperative actively promotes berry consumption in Poland, resulting in a positive increase in per capita blueberry consumption.

The industry faces challenges such as climate change, rising production costs, and labor shortages, driving a push towards greater efficiency and automation. Quality is identified as crucial to staying competitive, leading to the replacement of plantings with new varieties. Looking ahead, the industry aims to introduce innovative technologies, becoming less vulnerable to climate change while maintaining a focus on producing high-quality berries.
