Blueberry price index in global retail grows in week 44/2023: +1.8% driven by the standard segment at +2.69%

Global blueberry price index up 1,8% in week 44/2023

The Global Blueberry Price Index based on 12 global retails audited 31/10/2023 has increased by 2% compared to the previous week.

This week's panel includes 42 SKU's in 12 global retailers, with an average of 3,5 SKU's per retailer.


 

Last week's panel included 41 SKU's in 12 retailers (average 3,4 SKU's per retailer).

8% of the SKU's showed increased prices, with prices up by 15% compared to the previous week;
82% of the SKU's showed no change in the prices;
10% of the SKU's showed decreased prices, with prices down by 16% compared to the previous week.

Minimum and maximum blueberry prices by retailer

Blueberry minimum prices mostly stable this week: based on 12 global retailers audited 31/10/2023, 75% kept the minimum prices in the blueberry range stable, 0% increased them, while 25% has lowered the minimum prices compared to 25/10/2023.

Blueberry maximum prices mostly stable this week: based on 12 global retailers audited 31/10/2023, 67% kept the maximum prices in the blueberry range stable, 17% increased them, while 17% has lowered the maximum prices compared to 25/10/2023.
