Blueberries: slight increase of 0.5% for global retail price index in week 43

Global blueberry price index up 0,5% in week 43/2023

The Global Blueberry Price Index based on 12 global retails audited 25/10/2023 has increased by 0.5% compared to the previous week.

This week's panel includes 41 SKU's in 12 global retailers, with an average of 3,4 SKU's per retailer.

 

Last week's panel included 43 SKU's in 14 retailers (average 3,1 SKU's per retailer).

20% of the SKU's showed increased prices, with prices up by 16% compared to the previous week;
66% of the SKU's showed no change in the prices;
14% of the SKU's showed decreased prices, with prices down by 7% compared to the previous week.

Minimum and maximum blueberry prices by retailer

Blueberry minimum prices mostly stable this week: based on 12 global retailers audited 25/10/2023, 58% kept the minimum prices in the blueberry range stable, 33% increased them, while 8% has lowered the minimum prices compared to 16/10/2023.

Blueberry maximum prices mostly stable this week: based on 12 global retailers audited 25/10/2023, 58% kept the maximum prices in the blueberry range stable, 25% increased them, while 17% has lowered the maximum prices compared to 16/10/2023.
