Noberasco has expanded its “Viva la Frutta” range with Viva la Fragola, a new product consisting of soft dried strawberries sold in an 80-gram pack.
The launch brings strawberries into the long shelf-life snack segment, making them available beyond their traditional season. The dehydration process reduces the fruit’s water content and concentrates its flavour, while the soft texture differentiates the product from more common crunchy or freeze-dried alternatives.
The new product is designed both for direct consumption as a snack and for use as an ingredient. Suggested applications include pairing it with yoghurt and kefir or using it as a topping or decoration for baked goods.
Viva la Fragola is packaged in a recyclable stand-up pouch with a resealable zipper, designed to preserve the product after opening. The 80-gram pack has a recommended retail price of €3.49, equivalent to approximately €43.63 per kilogram.
The product will be distributed through supermarkets, hypermarkets and travel retail. With this launch, Noberasco is strengthening its presence in the convenient processed-fruit segment, responding to demand for practical snacks and fruit-based products available throughout the year.
