June-bearing strawberries: technical meeting at Agrion Experimental Centre in Boves
A technical meeting dedicated to June-bearing strawberries will take place on Thursday, 4 June 2026 at 3:30 pm at the Agrion Horticultural Experimental Centre, located at Via Albertasse 16, Boves (CN), Italy.
The event is part of the “GREEN CoriOrtoFrut” project, funded by FEASR - CSR 2023/2027 of Regione Piemonte, Intervention SRH05 – Demonstration actions for the agricultural sector, Call 1/2023.
Focus on new materials and reference varieties
During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to observe in the field recently introduced strawberry materials alongside the reference varieties currently being tested at the experimental centre.
The event will provide a useful technical update for growers, technicians and supply chain operators interested in variety innovation and in the direct evaluation of June-bearing strawberry materials under trial conditions.

The pomological display will allow participants to compare the fruit characteristics of the different varieties, with specific attention to materials currently in the harvesting or ripening stage.
