Italian Berry launches the global calendar of events dedicated to berries

25

Italian Berry presents a new service for industry professionals: a global calendar bringing together conferences, trade fairs, seminars and technical events dedicated to berries in the world’s leading producing countries and international markets.

Navigating the many international events dedicated to blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and currants is now easier. Italian Berry has launched the new Global Berry Events Calendar, a free resource designed for growers, technicians, companies, breeders, distributors and other supply chain professionals.

The page brings together specialised events held in the world’s main production areas in one place. The calendar includes international conferences, technical meetings, scientific symposia, workshops, conventions and trade fairs, providing an overview of the sector’s professional development and networking opportunities.

From Europe to the Americas, Africa and Asia

The calendar has an international scope and includes events held across Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. Countries represented include Italy, Spain, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania and Georgia, as well as Peru, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Morocco, South Africa, Egypt and China.

The essential information provided for each event includes:

  • start and end dates;
  • event title;
  • city and country;
  • organising body;
  • a link to the official website for programmes, registration and updates.

Upcoming events are listed in chronological order, while a dedicated function also allows users to browse the archive of past events.

A tool for planning business travel and commercial activities

Attending international events is becoming an increasingly important part of berry companies’ strategies. Conferences and trade fairs provide opportunities to discover new varieties and technologies, monitor market developments, meet customers and suppliers, and establish business partnerships.

However, the increasing internationalisation of the supply chain makes it difficult to keep track of every event. Italian Berry’s new calendar was created to provide industry professionals with a single point of reference for planning business travel, trade fair participation, meetings with partners and communication activities.

The service covers both events specifically focused on berries and those dedicated to individual berry species and the different stages of the supply chain, including production, genetics, growing techniques, post-harvest management, marketing and market trends.

A continuously updated calendar

The calendar will be updated regularly with new events and information published by their organisers. It already includes events scheduled not only for 2026 and 2027, but also several major international symposia planned for 2028.

The Global Berry Events Calendar is available free of charge through the “Services” menu on Italian Berry and can be accessed from computers, tablets and smartphones.
