Around 440 exhibitors from 13 countries and more than 5,000 visitors form more than 30 countries are expected at the trade fair duo expoSE & expoDirekt from 19 to 20 November 2025 at Messe Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre in Germany). The 29 th expoSE – Europe’s leading trade fair for asparagus and berry production – and the 14 th expoDirekt – Germany's largest trade fair for agricultural direct marketing – will be presenting innovations on around 25,000 square meters. The range of exhibits covers the entire production line for asparagus and berries, from cultivation to marketing. Products for field vegetable growing and stone fruit growing can also be found.
In particular, there are innovations to be seen in the field of mechanisation, automation and digitisation with a view to reducing production costs. Asparagus-cutting robots will be an important topic at expoSE. In addition, specialist lectures as part of the 36th Asparagus Day, the 3rd Berry Technology Forum, the 2nd Stone Fruit Forum and the Direct Marketers Forum provide up-to-date specialist information and networking opportunities.
The organizer of the trade fairs is the Verband Süddeutscher Spargel- und Erdbeeranbauer e. V. (VSSE - Association of Southern German Asparagus and Strawberry Growers). The VSSE will continue to expand the stone fruit production area. This is because many producers are interested in selling stone fruit in direct marketing after the strawberry season. Furthermore, an area for start-up companies is under discussion.

Exhibitors registering for the trade fair duo expoSE & expoDirekt by 30 April will receive a 5% early bird discount on the stand space.
expoSE and expoDirekt innovation awards
Exhibitors at expoSE and expoDirekt can apply for the innovation award with their innovations by 30 September 2025. An independent expert jury examines the submissions and awards the prizes. The award ceremony will take place on the first day of the fair.
