Blueberry prices were surveyed this week by the Global Blueberry E-Commerce Retail Monitor service run by Italian Berry, which analysed a panel of offers of global retailer.
Blueberries: price index changes by segment
The price index change in the Organic segment shows a decrease of 3.59%. In the Discount segment, the price index remained unchanged, showing 0.00%.
The Premium Segment recorded an increase of 2.16%. For the Standard Segment, the index showed a decrease of 4.56%.
Overall, the price index decreased by 3.32%.
Price values in EUR/kg
The lowest price was € 8.53, recorded by Walmart (US). The highest price was € 75.40, recorded by FairPrice (SG).
The average price was € 20.46/kg.
This week's panel includes 46 SKU's in 14 global retailers, with an average of 3,3 SKU's per retailer.
Last week's panel included 42 SKU's in 14 retailers (average 3 SKU's per retailer).
- 10% of the SKU's showed increased prices, with prices up by 16% compared to the previous week;
- 67% of the SKU's showed no change in the prices;
- 23% of the SKU's showed decreased prices, with prices down by 21% compared to the previous week.
