The collaboration between Italian Berry and myfruit.it has resulted in an event entirely dedicated to berries, now in its fourth edition this year.
It is called "Berry Trend 2024 - Data, Trends, and News for the Berry Sector" and is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024, streaming live on myfruit.it's LinkedIn and YouTube channels.
The panel of speakers will include Carmela Suriano, director of Nova Siri Genetics, Nicola Leonardi, commercial director of the cooperative Sant'Orsola, Giovanni Sansone, fruit and vegetable purchasing manager at Dimar (a Piedmontese company of the Selex Group), and Thomas Drahorad (Ncx Drahorad - Italian Berry).
Following the national and international context on production, market, and consumption, illustrated by Thomas Drahorad - who will present exclusive data from GfK for Italian Berry and data from the Berry Observatory - Carmela Suriano will present the results of varietal innovation in strawberries and raspberries, and Nicola Leonardi will share the experience of the Trentino company, a reference point for berry production. The whole event will be enriched by the retail vision of Giovanni Sansone.
