The company is consolidating berry production in both areas of origin as its market presence continues to grow.

Despite the fact that 2022 was a complicated year due to the difficult economic situation, the company recorded a 10 percent growth in sales. For this reason, it will continue to strengthen investment in new areas in 2023, as well as improve varietal offerings and introduce more efficient and sustainable cultivation systems.

Last year, Daifressh'farms in Poland included a total of 125 hectares of integrated production with hydroponic systems. These included 20 hectares of strawberries, 15 hectares of raspberries, and 36 hectares of blueberries. In the next season, which will begin in a few months, the company will increase its blueberries planting with 10 new hectares of Sekoya's Crunch and Grande varieties, grown exclusively in the country. The company aims to develop a total of 100 hectares of these varieties in the coming years.

"In addition, our goal for 2030 is to have a total of 300 hectares of productive land. This will strengthen our position as one of the largest berry producers in Poland and Central Europe," says Ana Claramunt, general manager of Daifressh.

In Morocco, where the season is currently in full swing, Daifressh has 80ha of raspberry production. It recently acquired two new farms in the country, totaling an additional 140ha, which are expected to start production in the next few years.

"We are focusing on using diverse origins for our production, and we encourage long-term agreements with our Dai-Growers group to continue to grow as producers and consolidate ourselves as trusted suppliers to our customers throughout the 52 weeks of the year," Claramunt continues.

"At the same time, we continue to strengthen our commitment to environmental, social and economic sustainability. As a result, retailers are placing more and more trust in our project, and this has enabled us to enter new markets. We are convinced that 2023 will be a year that will boost our growth, as the forecast is very positive."
