Italian Berry Market Report: week 44/2019

Blueberries

The volume of Peruvian blueberries arriving in Europe is increasing and as a result prices are falling. Peak deliveries are expected in week 45/46.

This week we are offering our customers €7.00-7.50/Kg delivered for punnets and between €6.00/Kg and €6.50/Kg for bulk.

Raspberries

The volume of raspberries from Spain and Morocco is increasing, and also the prices thanks to the good quality of the product being delivered. Especially the variety Adelita of Morocco, which this week we offer at €1.15/basket delivered Italy.

Good results also for the Spanish Enrosadira raspberry (breeding Italian) on offer at €1.05/return basket.

Next week we will have the first Italian raspberries from the South, with prices slightly higher than the imported product.
