In a communication to members dated August 29, 2025, the Board of Directors of Sant'Orsola s.c.a. resolved, with effect from September 1, 2025, to end its collaboration with Managing Director Matteo Bortolini. The decision was taken unanimously by the Board, in line with the director’s expressed intention to focus his efforts on developing his own entrepreneurial activities.
At the same time, in July the Research and Development Department also underwent a change, following the resignation of its head, Dr. Gianluca Savini.
In its statement, the Board sought to reassure members about the full continuity of operations: company management during this transitional phase will be ensured by the current leadership team, pending completion of the internal reorganization process.
This process includes the assignment of corporate responsibilities to the managers already active within the structure, based on guidelines established by the President and the Board of Directors.
The Board also reaffirmed the cooperative’s economic and financial solidity, emphasizing that it remains fully capable of meeting the operational needs of its members.
