Battistini Nurseries brings to market Pink Lemonade plants, a variety of pink blueberry with intense color and a distinctive citrus aftertaste, great as a gift even for the less green-thumbed.
Battistini Vivai opens its new online shop, and in celebration of Christmas, among the many products we find the Pink Lemonade, a variety of blueberry with a vibrant pink color. It is possible to buy the plant in pots: they are sold after only one year of growth, are 40 cm tall and are placed in 9×9 cm pots(GO TO ONLINE SHOP).
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PINK BLUEBERRY
This variety of blueberry presents itself as a vigorous and very productive plant, able to withstand low temperatures well and easy to grow even for those less accustomed to a green thumb. As with the other varieties, it requires good sun exposure, accompanied by soil with acidic properties. Seedlings bloom in late spring, producing white bell-shaped flowers. Harvesting, on the other hand, takes place in June, a time when the fruits ripen and obtain their distinctive vibrant color. (for fact sheet, click here)
