Exclusively from Fall Creek Genetics™, blueberries Ventura is the first Southern Highbush variety developed by Fall Creek's breeding programme. It is a vigorous upright plant that has high yields of early maturing fruit. blueberry Ventura is large, compact, medium blue and matures shortly after Snowchaser. The berry is firmer than Springhigh, with a thicker skin and lighter colour. blueberries Ventura is a Low Chill variety that adapts well to No Chill, evergreen management and is recommended for commercial production in the No Chill and Low Chill growing regions targeting high quality fresh markets. Chill hours: 200 or less.
