In a recent webinar, Fall Creek's Polish manager, Mariusz Padewski, outlined the past, present and future of the varieties at blueberry.

According to Fall Creek, who developed them, the varieties that will represent the future for the blueberry crop are characterised by high calibre (on average over 16mm, with ArabellaBlue over 18mm), good shelf life (with medium to good performance after 4 weeks of cold storage), distinctive taste and good harvest yield.

At the end of 2023, Sant'Orsola's turnover in the characteristic sector, berries, strawberries and cherries amounted to EUR 65 million (+11.6%). This increase was driven by the €28.89 million distributed to shareholders.
