The SMAQ VENETO Project for the digital innovation of the berry supply chain is underway. Fondazione Cariparo and Fondazione Cariverona are joining forces to promote the SMAQ Veneto project, an initiative launched in collaboration with Filiera Futura, in which up to a maximum of 30 companies can participate.
Approximately thirty agricultural companies from Padova, Rovigo, Belluno, Verona, and Vicenza will be selected to participate in the SMAQ Veneto project (Strategies for Quality Agri-Food Marketing). This initiative, launched in collaboration with Filiera Futura, an association founded in 2020 that brings together 25 partners, including banking foundations such as Fondazione Cariparo and Fondazione Cariverona, universities, and category entities, aims to enhance the quality products and the uniqueness of Made in Italy, bringing innovation to the agri-food sector.
The SMAQ Veneto project, supported by Fondazione Cariparo and Fondazione Cariverona with 300,000 euros, aims to promote the production of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and currants through traceability and e-commerce.
The selected companies will be able to enhance their digital skills through training activities and will benefit from the support and collaboration of a Project Manager and Digital Ambassadors, professionals with high expertise in the field of digital innovation.
There are two calls to select companies and Digital Ambassadors that will participate in SMAQ Veneto.
The first call is dedicated to agricultural companies already operating in this market and those with innovative potential operating in other production sectors but could benefit from undertaking these crops.
The second call is aimed at Digital Ambassadors, figures who will support the companies in becoming familiar with digital tools and solutions.
The presentation event of the SMAQ Veneto project will officially take place in an open meeting for all interested parties, held in person at the Conference Hall of Palazzo del Monte di Pietà in Padova and available via live streaming on December 5, 2023.
