The Global Blueberry Price Index of the basket Italian Berry decreased by 0.1 percent from the previous week.

The index is composed of 14 retailers of the large global retailers, including 14 with product on offer in the March 13, 2023 survey. The 14 retailers that make up the weekly panel are: Albert Heijn (NL), Carrefour (FR), Coop (CH), FairPrice (SG), Intermarches (FR), Interspar (AT), Kroger (US), Mercadona (ES), Rewe (DE), Sainsbury's (UK), Tesco (UK), Walmart (US), Woolworths (AU), ICA (SE).

This week's basket assortment has 40 references in 14 global retailers of the GDO, with an average of 2.9 references per retailer. The previous week there were 42 references in 14 retailers (average 3 references per retailer). The total number of references thus decreased by 5 percent from the previous week.

• On 19 percent of the references, prices were found to have increased, with prices up 7 percent from the previous week;
• On 78 percent of the references, stable prices were found compared to the previous week;
• Declining prices were found on 3% of the references, with prices down 41% from the previous week.

Minimum prices are mostly stable this week: out of 14 retailers of the large global retailers, 79% kept the minimum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 14% increased them, and 7% decreased the minimum prices from the previous week.

Maximum prices mostly stable this week: out of 14 retailers of the large global retailers, 57 percent held maximum prices of the assortment stable blueberries, 14 percent increased them, and 29 percent decreased maximum prices from the previous week.
